Disclaimer
The speaker test is a simple tool. Please use it with common sense.
Use at your own risk
The tool plays test sounds through your speakers or headphones. Sound that is too loud can damage your hearing, and very low or very high tones played for a long time at a high volume can damage speakers. Start with a low volume, keep it moderate, and stop at the first sign of distortion; the space bar stops all sound at once. The safeguards built into the page, such as the volume limit, the fade-in and the filter for very deep bass, reduce the risk but cannot remove it.
No warranty
The page is provided as it is, without any promise that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose. It is not a measuring instrument: your system may change the sound, and what you hear also depends on your speakers and your room.
